Internship

Hello everyone!

How's it going?

I started internship from 23th of November finally.

Internship is one of the reasons why I decided to come to Australia for study abroad program.

So I was excited but also nervous at the same time because I don't like to go into new environment.

However, my boss lets me do what I want to do. So I'm having fun in my job.

Here are some pictures.

I'm doing design of logos or banners, which is so much fun because I have wanted to design for a long time!!!

This is some logos that I made for a toastie shop.

I can often get cappchino for free because my boss owns a cafe. I like the cappchino.

This is the last week fir internship and this program. I can believe I'll be heading back to Japan in a week. However I know time won't stop so I'll make the most of the rest of this life!

Thanks for visiting my blog.

My bucket list

Hello everyone!
How's it going?

It's less than 3 months until I leave Australia.
Recently I often imagine when I go back to Japan and meet my
family and friends, and then I feel so excited about that.
However, at the same time I feel so sad to say goodbye to my friends here and my hostfamily.
My heart will be torn apart… hehe
I know time never stops so I don't want to waste my time and do want to do what I want to do as much as possible.

Here is the list what I want to do while staying at Australia.

・Surfing
・Swim with/touch dolphin
・Make Japanese foods for my hostfamily
・Pass the courses I'm taking at UQ
・Visit casino (just visiting)
・Skydiving
・Visit Mt. Cootha at night

I don't know if I can complete them though, I'll try.

And one more thing,
I'm gonna go on a trip to Sydeney from tomorrow for 5 days.
I am so EXCITED!

It's gonna be a wonderful break!

Have a lovely break everybody.

Thank you for visiting my blog!

Another new life

Hello!!

It is going to be turnaround point of this study abroad soon. I can't believe I have to go back to Japan in less than 5 months.

By the way, I started studying at UQ last week finally. To be honest, I miss the life in ICTE because studying at UQ is so hard to me and is going to be harder!
However, I believe when I overcome the hardness and finish the courses I gain the most precious experience I have ever had.

Turning to other, I went to Japanese restaurant on last saturday!
It was a little bit expensive but reasonable and amazing! The restaurant is like buffet style and we can eat hot pot
and sushi as much as we like! I really want to go there
again!!

Thank your for visiting my blog!

3 Months

Hello!

It has been more than three months since I came here, Birsbane.
I cannot believe that I have been apart from my family or friends for such a long time.
However, I feel that I am getting used to living here.

By the way, I have been focused on study for IELTS as much as possible, especially this month, and the last IELTS exam has finished yesterday.
I actually do not want to talk about it...haha.

Thereafter, I had a great Japanese dinner with my friends in sherwood.
I spent a wonderful time with them chatting and eating Japanese foods, including sushi, hot pot, udon or that  kinds of things! Also, waiters in the restaurant which we went to was so nice.
I would like to go again sometime.

Anyway, I can say that one step is now
behind me as IELTS test has gone.
My life in Brisbane is less than half a year so I want to challenge a lot of things like surfing or swimming with dolphins ( that  are on my bucket list! ).

ILLUMI RUN

Hi, everybody!

Today, I'm talking about the event I joined on Saturday.

The name of the event is ILLUMI RUN!
It was held in Showground which is near City. I went there with my friends and had lots of fun!

I suppose that the event is a kind of charity and some of the participation fee is used for it.
While this event, ”illumi” glow water which light us up in the dark were spread on us all the time!

So I look back with some photos…

This wat taken before it started. I wore sunglasses, head band, T-shirt and tutu!
However, I lost the headband later…

They are men who were just behind us and sang songs played at that time! When I pointed my phone at them, they sang looking at it! They were so nice!

took a picture with them, although it is blurred due to the glow water haha.

As you can see, we were put a lot of the glow water on head to toe!

After finishing ”run” ( we almost walked
) , participants got together in a giant white tent and had a party there!
We sang, jumped and danced to the music played by DJs on the stage until the end of this event!
Many staff were spraying the glow water on us even while this time!

After all, we got like this…

It was the first time to spend such time.
I can say that it was crazy but I really enjoyed it.

However, it's less than fortnight until IELTS so I will focus on study from this week!

Thank you for visiting this blog!

Hello from Brisbane

Hello!!

One month has passed since I arrived at
Brisbane !
Time passes so fast !

Although my hostfamily is just an elderly woman, I enjoy my homestay because she is really nice.
She enjoy her life so much, working as a volunteer, sitting her grandsons and so on.
I think I want to live like her.

So, let me talk about where I went and what I did so far with some picture !

I took this photo from Mt. Cootha when I went on the bus trip on my first day at ICTE!! I've never seen such amazing view in my life !

Also, I had a lovely easter holiday !
First of all, I watched ”Cinderella” twice during the holiday. Secondly, I went to City and South Bank with my friends for the first time. Thirdly, I stayed for 1 night at my friend's house and made Japanese food.

I was surprised with street beach, which is artificial beach, at South Bank ! I've never visit the place like this ! It was so beautiful !

A weekday after easter holiday, I went to cinema again. At that time, I watched ”Fast and Furious 7” with my classmates. This picture of puncake was taken by me when we went to pancake cafe before we watched the movie. It was so tasty !

As you can see the words in this photo, I wen to dreamwold with friends!! Some attraction was introduced by Japanese TV, so I was very excited to ride them !

These are the pictures I took at GOMA. One of my friends took other friends and me there. We enjoyed a lot !

Finally, I went to Twilight Market held in front of City Hall.  There are a lot of shop which sell handmade accessery or food.
They are so cute !

Actually, I've been to lots of place other than these, so it was so difficult to choose what I write.

To sum up, at frist,I was worried about being homesick by stress from staying where I don't know so much. However I haven't been homesick until now. I think that's  because people in Australia are so kind and I'm being able to spend wonderful time with people aroud me. I really thank them for that.

I hope this study abroad program is going to be the best !
